2020 Virtual Piping Competition

With the cancellation of our 2020 Games, our renowned and highly regarded Piping Convenor, Dr Jack Taylor, suggested that we host a Virtual Open Piping Competition on the 1st August. The 3 categories were to be the Adult Open March, Open Piobaireachd and Open Strathspey & Reel. A very high standard of entries from all over the world were accepted. Competitors were contacted by stewards and the recordings were made throughout the day. Over the following days, the judges listened to the recordings and made their decisions.
