The 2000 Aboyne Highland Games witnessed the breaking of the the Scottish and World records for the "Throwing Light Hammer " event. This was achieved by Bruce Aitken whose throw came in at an astonishing 156ft. 8.5ins. Will we see the record broken again at Aboyne this year?
