50th Year For Dancing Judge Joyce MacGregor

Today is the 50th year Joyce MacGregor will have attended Aboyne Games.
Joyce still stays in the house where she was brought up in Aberdeen. She has managed to avoid having
a telephone in her home. In her younger day she appeared in various stage shows and she taught
stage work and Highland Dancing. She was well travelled and speaks fluent French and German. She
worked as a secretary with Aberdeen City Council and was a Trade Union representative attending
Trades Union Congress.

We especially welcome Joyce to the Games today and wish her many more happy years of
judging.
